Champion PRCA Xtreme Broncs Match
For the 2023 World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale, I was honored to craft these custom bronzes, commissioned by the MCBHS. With a limited edition of only three, each piece is individually numbered and celebrates the unmatched talent and grit of the bronc riders who give it their all.
One of these bronzes was awarded to the Champion of the PRCA Xtreme Broncs Match on Sunday, and another was auctioned off during the Short Round Calcutta on May 21. The MCBHS Board of Governors holds onto the third bronze, a lasting tribute to the history and tradition of this legendary event.
It was a real thrill to watch Zeke Thurston claim his victory and see him receive one of these bronzes. There’s something about those moments—when a rider gives it everything he’s got and is rewarded for it—that makes creating these pieces truly special.
