Steer wrestling, or ‘bulldoggin’, has always been about guts, grit, and timing. I wanted this piece to freeze that exact moment when a cowboy leaves the saddle and grabs hold, everything hanging in the balance—man against beast. You can feel the power in the cowboy’s grip and the determination in his eyes.

I’ve always admired steer wrestlers. It takes a special kind of boldness to dive headfirst off a running horse, knowing you’re about to square off with a steer that outweighs you. I tried to bring that action to life here—the dust flying, muscles straining, and that split second of sheer willpower.

This limited edition of 20 is a nod to those bulldoggers who don’t back down. The ones who give it their all, no matter how hard they hit the dirt.
