Clint Johnson on Kickin’ Bear – Limited Edition Bronze
This here’s a tribute to Clint Johnson, a 4-time World Champion bronc rider from right here in Spearfish, South Dakota. Sculpted by yours truly, TR Chytka, this bronze captures Clint in the heat of action, sittin’ tall on the back of the legendary Kickin’ Bear. It’s a moment of pure rodeo glory, brought to life in bronze. The life-size version stands proudly at the Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center, where it honors Clint alongside other bronc ridin’ legends.
Each one of these 18” x 16” bronzes comes mounted on a solid wood base, topped off with an engraved brass nameplate, and is individually numbered by my hand. With only 100 of these made, they’re about as rare as a good rainstorm in the Badlands. And, like all things special, they sold out quicker than a bronc outta the chute.
While you won’t find any of these left for sale, you can still head down to the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center and see Clint sittin’ high on Kickin’ Bear in the Sculpture Garden, right where he belongs—with South Dakota’s finest.
