Gene Clark: A Tribute to Rodeo Clowns
Description
A man like Gene Clark didn’t just step into the arena for a show—he did it to keep cowboys safe. I made this piece as a one-of-one, a way to tip my hat to a guy who put himself between a bull and a downed rider more times than most folks can count.
There’s a lot of talk about rodeo legends, but the rodeo clowns—the bullfighters—they’re the ones who keep the sport going. Gene was one of the best, and this bronze stands as a nod to his years of dedication, courage, and quick-footed skill. With only one ever made, it ain’t just a sculpture—it’s a cowboy’s way of saying thank you.
