Lehi Roundup
Description
Creating this piece for the Lehi Round-Up was one of those projects that hits close to home. Rodeo has a way of weaving into a town’s spirit, and Lehi’s no different. When they asked me to sculpt a 3/4-size bronze for the 70th anniversary back in 2007, I knew it had to capture the wildness and heart of the Lehi Roundup. That full-sized piece now stands tall in the roundabout at 500 West and Main Street, a reminder of the grit and tradition that keeps rodeo alive.
This smaller edition brings that same energy right into your own space. It’s a scaled-down piece of history—each marquette showing every kick, every ounce of fight in that bronc, and the cowboy hanging on with everything he’s got. It’s not just a sculpture; it’s a bit of Lehi’s rodeo spirit, cast in bronze to keep the legacy bucking strong.
