ProRodeo Hall of Fame: Where Rodeo Legends Stand Tall in Bronze
If you’ve ever visited the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, you know it’s a place that celebrates the heart of rodeo. Some of the greatest names in rodeo—Jim Shoulders, Billy Etbauer, Casey Tibbs, and Marvin Garrett—are honored here, and I’m proud to say a few of my bronzes are part of that story.
A stroll through the Sculpture Garden will introduce you to the lives and legacies of these rodeo legends, captured in bronze. Each piece carries with it the grit and determination of those who defined the sport. When I sculpted these bronzes, I wasn’t just making statues—I was preserving the spirit of rodeo for generations to come.
You’ll also find the Priefert Arena nearby, where folks can still feel the dust kick up as they watch private rodeo events or attend rodeo training sessions. The Hal Littrell Pavilion, another feature in the garden, is a gathering place for special events—keeping the rodeo energy alive, season after season.
These sculptures, set against the backdrop of the Sculpture Garden, don’t just stand still—they tell stories. Each one captures a moment, a memory, and the unbreakable spirit of the West.
If you ever get the chance, take a walk through the Sculpture Garden and meet these legends face to face. They’ve been immortalized in bronze, but their stories are as real and alive as the day they made their mark on the rodeo world.
